Founder of Milliya College
Ahmed bin Abood bin Mahfooz was born in Beed, in the Marathwada region of Maharashtra India on 6 June 1926. He offered himself to the service of nation since many years. He is a remarkably broad-minded man, the perfect type of a man of honour, a great organizer and an ideal manager. He served as the secretary of Anjumn e Ishaat e Taleem Beed, during his tenure the society reached remarkable growth. He has been awarded with various awards on national and state level for his contributions to the nation in the field of education among minorities.
He founded Milliya arts science and management science College in Beed on July 1991, and since then he is continuously putting efforts for the establishment and improvement of the college.
Beed is a gradual developing district in Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Approximately 40% people of the district belong to minority commune. The needs of the challenging time have forced Mr. Ahmed bin Abood (Secretary of the society) and late Mr. Raunak Ali, and some personalities with the same kind of strong will power and optimism of mind set to think about the education and social upliftment of minorities. Hence, Anjuman Ishat e Taleem was established to counter these challenges.
Anjuman Ishat e Taleem was established in 1963. Initially a primary school was started, and thereafter, in 1991, Milliya Arts, Science and Management Science College was incepted.
